If you are traveling to IMEX America on a non-US passport from outside the United States, you may require a visa or visa waiver (ESTA) for entry to the United States.

If you need an IMEX America invitation letter to support your visa application, you can request a visa application letter and complete the short form, once your hosted buyer application has been approved.

TSA PreCheck® Enrollment by IDEMIA

You can enroll for TSA PreCheck at IMEX America once your registration is confirmed (US citizens and US lawful permanent residents only).

TSA PreCheck® is available at over 200 airports across the United States and allows travelers flying on one of the participating airlines an enhanced security screening process by not requiring them to remove shoes, light outerwear, belt, laptops, or 3-1-1 compliant liquids bag from their carry-on luggage.

The TSA PreCheck program is a great option for frequent travelers looking to save time during the airport security process. Though IDEMIA, TSA PreCheck is $78, which covers five years of participation, if approved.

3 easy steps to TSA PreCheck®

Apply online: Submit an online application and schedule an appointment by putting SP-IMEX in the location Zip Code/City/Airport Code search box. This will give you access to this special event scheduling.

Enroll in person: Come to IMEX America to complete the less than 10-minute enrollment which includes capturing your fingerprints and photo for the TSA background check. That is also where you will submit your payment of $78. Be sure to bring documentation proving your identity and citizenship status.

Get your Known Traveler Number (KTN): Most travelers get their KTN in three to five days.
