What is the Hosted Buyer Program?

IMEX works with key partners to invite top-level planners to attend the show - we offer complimentary travel and accommodation for buyers to attend the largest meetings and incentive exhibition in the United States. Participation in the program is subject to strict qualifying criteria.

The hosted buyer program makes it easy for top buyers to attend the show, maximizing the sales potential for our exhibitors. For buyers it's the reason only top quality exhibitors will attend the show.

In 2013, over 2400 of America and the world’s top-spending meetings, incentives and association buyers will take part in the program – the largest-ever hosted buyer gathering at a US trade show.75% come from the USA, all of whom place business both in domestic and international markets. 25% come from the rest of the world, with a special interest in buying in the US.

All hosted buyers are pre-qualified, are on the show floor for twice as long as trade attendees, arrive with pre-arranged appointment schedules and will have substantial business to place.

Who are Hosted Buyers?

Top-level MICE (meetings, incentive, conferences and events) planners who book significant US and international business and have agreed to schedule an attend a set number of appointments with exhibitors of their choice during IMEX America.

Hosted Buyers are from the following market sectors:

Agency
Incentive, business and conference travel agencies, full service incentive houses, conference organizers, sales and promotion agencies, marketing, PR and advertising agencies.

Association
International or US institutions, federations or associations who organize congresses, conventions and meetings internationally. Plus Association Management Companies and Professional Conference Organizers. Details of the Association to be represented at IMEX America will be required on registration.

Corporate
Executives within companies involved with meetings, conferences and incentive travel programs. Participants should have responsibility for, or direct influence over, decisions regarding destinations/ venues.
