How to Become a Hosted Buyer

Working with a network of selected intermediaries, key buyers are invited to apply to attend as part of an intermediary's hosted buyer group.

To qualify as hosted buyers, buyers must be responsible for planning, organizing, recommending or making financial decisions for corporate meetings and hospitality, incentive travel programs, association meetings, conferences, seminars, exhibitions, roadshows, product launches, promotional events or training programs.

  • United States Based Buyers: a minimum of 2 events listed must be outside of the United States
  • Buyers from outside of the US (including Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean): a minimum of 2 events listed must be within the United States, the 3rd event must be outside of their home country

What's Required of Hosted Buyers?

Buyers are required to make and attend a minimum of eight appointments per day with exhibitors of their choice using the Virtual Exhibition and Online Diary, including group appointments arranged by their intermediaries. Buyers participating in the hosted buyer program must also agree to IMEX America's terms and conditions.
